We are currently looking for experienced Quantity Surveyors to join our team to work on newly awarded projects across different sectors and different locations within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a location based role. This is a great opportunity to be part of a growing team on high profile projects within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities:

The Quantity Surveyor will report to either the Assistant Manager/Senior Commercial Manager
Will be responsible for organizing measurement tasks when preparing estimates/cost plans
Draft cost estimates/plans to be reviewed and finalized with senior management.
Preparation of BOQ including formulation of preamble/general requirements.
Conduct market review/research to compile and update unit rates for estimation.
Responsible for on-site and off-site quantity checks and confirmation regarding batches and changeovers.
Responsible for checking and verifying all invoices for the sub-packages mentioned in the website.
– Keep a record of payments
Checking materials on and off site and verifying delivery and acceptance from customer representative for payment approval.
Prepare and maintain records of all subcontractors contracts and payments.
On-site verification of final accounts submitted by contractors, sub-contractors and selected suppliers, adjusting as necessary and making recommendations to the client.
Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts
Prepare monthly cost report and cash flow forecast
Perform cost estimates for alternative design solutions
Make estimates of changes.

requirements:

Competencies / Qualifications / Technical Experience

Basic

Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related
– At least 5-10 years of experience with at least 3 years of experience working for a consultant
Middle East Experience
Flexibility to be anywhere in Saudi Arabia
Computer knowledge (Autocad measurement, MS Excel, Word, etc.)
Knowing and understanding the following:
Cost planning (concept design, schematic design and detailed design)
– Measurement / BOQ in POMI & CESMM
Arranging contract documents
Understand FDIC Contract Forms

Industry experience in Saudi Arabia:

– Hotels, Residential, Retail, Civil/Infrastructure
Demonstrate a good understanding of aggregating unit averages for grade

desirable:

– WORKING FOR MRICS
Pre-contract experience
Experience within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
