WSP Middle East is currently looking for a Forensic Planner / Delay Analyst to join an iconic PMC project in Qatar.
Your new role, what is your role?
* Be responsible for the forensic review of contractor claims for time extension, expedited, and interruption cost claims
* Perform delay analysis and determine the time impact of each delay event and coordinate with the team to prepare recommendations for EOT claims submitted by the contractor
* Critical path effect schedule setting for delay analysis in Primavera P6 . format
* Maintain a database and log of correspondence required to review claims
* Coordinate and consult with the rest of the claims team to review claims with a pragmatic approach to legitimate delay planning and analysis, and will endeavor to minimize operational abuse and clearly demonstrate the consequences of delay events
* Have a good understanding of all stages of a claim from initial forensic and historical analysis to the actual claim stage and post-claim stage. Analyze programs and identify irregularities and inconsistencies regarding time, cost, and resources from complex, multi-scheduled contractor programs
Prepare independent analysis of the schedule impact of complex claims and assist in the formulation of counter-claims versus contractor extension of time claims
We would love to hear from you if you have:
* Degree in civil engineering or construction management with professional certifications in planning and scheduling
*Minimum 10 years of experience, of which 5 years must be a forensic planner with engineering consultancy or project management consultancy
* At least 2 years’ experience in construction supervision of PMC projects for tall buildings
*Must have strong leadership quality to lead and motivate the team
*Must be computer literate and able to use computer technology to access data, keep records, generate reports, etc.
*Must be fluent in written and spoken English with excellent ability in written technical skills as well as oral and written communication skills
