About the client:
An independent federal entity responsible for enhancing the efficiency of the public education sector in the United Arab Emirates
Job title:
• Contribute to the development of professional development and welfare policies in coordination with the Department of Operational and Governance Policies and the development of welfare processes and procedures and professional development in coordination with the Department of Institutional Excellence in line with leading practices and relevant regulations.
• Manage the development of professional development standards and frameworks to ensure the delivery of high quality, impactful development programs for teachers/school leaders across institutions in line with Ministry policies.
• Maintain strong relationships with the Ministry and coordinate regularly with the Ministry to understand curriculum changes to assess impact on teachers/school leaders and to identify required professional development plans across institutions.
• Lead the identification of mandatory development needs for teachers/school leaders across institutions based on changes in curriculum and individual and school assessments, in coordination with the Education sectors as well as the Planning, Improvement and Learning Delivery departments.
• Ensure effective coordination with the education sectors to identify specific development needs and develop an annual professional development plan for teachers/school leaders across institutions
qualifications:
• Open to UAE Nationals
• 50 years and under
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the education sector
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or any related field
• Master’s degree in Education is an added advantage
