WSP is looking for a Quality Assurance/QC Specialist for a large ongoing project in NEOM.
Your new role, what is your role?
Attends all on-site tests and pre-tests in factories and ensures that they are conducted in accordance with the applicable Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), including site inspections and routine monitoring
* Coordinates with all Materials Engineers for all project material inspection requests
* Ensures that all materials delivered to the site are in compliance with approved material submissions and are properly stored.
* Coordinate testing requirements with the laboratory and the contractor/engineer representative(s).
* Ensures that IMTE logs are updated and all equipment used, including logs, calibrated.
* Provide feedback/reports to the Quality Control Department on any quality issues/concerns.
* Ensure that all non-conformities are identified and reported through approved NCR processes and procedures.
* Reviews all quality related submissions, including but not limited to NCR reports, test reports, third party reports, quality feedback, etc.
* Monitor and close notices of quality defects and reports of non-conformities.
* Assists in reviewing mockups, and malfunctions (fixing and closing) inspections
*Monitor & report to the Quality Manager for work attendance and technical contractors’ efficiency and quality teams on site, reporting on their adequacy and internal inspection systems.
* Ensure that the latest revisions to approved documents are available and used on site, including but not limited to method statements, shop drawings, ITPs, procedures, plans, etc.
* Reviews daily, weekly and monthly quality reports for the contractor.
* Monitor and report on the implementation and achievement of quality objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Leads and assists in quality audits, in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 and WSP requirements, including internal, contractor and subcontractor audits, and 3^rd party and off-site audits.
* Assists in audit planning and scheduling.
* Assists with reporting, EDMS workflow and document archiving.
* Meeting review periods for each type of document assigned and status update with document monitoring as required
* Conducting internal quality training.
* Maintain a tracker of all supervisory personnel on site for quality induced/directed/trained. Track contractor quality training.
* Ensure that all WSP processes, procedures and quality requirements are met.
* Prepare daily/weekly report to the Quality Manager for contractor quality performance related to inspections and site works.
* Assists project teams as required for contractor payment and claims applications.
* Assists Quality Manager in preparing project reports, including technical records, workflow, status of documentation and closure, NCR/SOR, inspection, testing, etc.
* Any other reasonable quality related task requested by the Quality Manager

* bachelor of Civil Engineering.
* At least 10 years of experience in a similar capacity in major civil infrastructure projects with a recognized international company.
