what are you going to do
The Brand Manager is responsible for participating in the development of Egypt’s business strategy for his people/division with the regional team (Vice Presidents and General Managers). He is then responsible for leading its implementation through budget/profit and loss ownership, achieving business objectives and managing the team. In addition, the Brand Manager will support business growth by advising and recommending potential expansion, new store opening/closing and other strategic decisions.

Portfolio / Brand Management
• Participate in the creation of a business plan for Fashion Egypt by brand based on strategic trends and local market needs and agreement with regional and local management on annual business objectives
• Support the achievement of sales targets by implementing and maintaining high work standards and building high performance teams.
• Manage operations and ensure that they are aligned with each brand’s goals, vision and guidelines
• Work closely with our Supply Chain and Purchasing teams to ensure we have the right offering tailored to local consumers and make recommendations based on observed trends and needs
• Improving operational systems, processes and policies to support divisional goals –
• Better reporting specifically by taking advantage of new systems (eg: Looker, etc. Information flow and management, business process and organizational planning
• Manage and review on a monthly basis the P&L business with the GM brand to ensure the implementation of the remedial plan
• Monitor and direct daily operations to ensure goals and objectives are met in terms of sales performance against budget/targets and take action accordingly
• Propose management of opening, closing and transferring new stores to the market and ensuring successful implementation
Marketing and Customer Experience
• Supporting the vision of long-term hybrid business (including offline and online) in Egypt
• Recommend the allocation of marketing activities and ensure that they are established in partnership with the local marketing teams to target the needs and requirements of the Egyptian market
people management
• Manage and increase team effectiveness and efficiency by building synergies across different functions
• Mentor, coach and lead the team to achieve the brands vision and business plans milestones
• Provide input and assistance in group succession planning by identifying high potentials within the team, particularly potential store leaders and other key roles.

What you will need to succeed
• Experience in identifying, following up and seizing new business opportunities in the region
• Experience in hybrid retail, e-commerce implementation, strong exposure to customer experience, CRM and digital transformation
• Experience in financial management, negotiation and approval of contracts
• Able to nurture relationships with clients/partners
• Able to influence without authority and be seen as a reliable and credible leader in business
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to build and inspire high performance teams
• Experience in developing and managing a cross-functional team with a variety of skills and experience
• Experience working in a fast-paced matrix environment
• Exceptional communication, relationship building and project management skills
• Willingness for continuous development, understanding of industry best practices and a desire to stay ahead of the curve
• Outstanding analytical skills, solid experience in interpreting insights and drawing conclusions to inform business decision-making
