NTS Group is working exclusively on an exciting opportunity within a truly global pharmaceutical company in Dubai, to recruit Senior Regional Medical Director (Vaccines). The Senior Medical Director reports directly to the Country Medical Director and is responsible for the following areas;
Manage, develop and direct the MSL team across the Gulf region within the assigned treatment area.
Provide education about the clinical impact of the company’s medicinal products to help inform customer decision making and improve patient outcomes by communicating factual data and scientific evidence.
Maintain required level of knowledge of relevant TA/disease conditions and company medications, and provide therapeutic area/product information to internal and external stakeholders as needed.
– Managing KOL related to his specialty therapy and is the medical partner of KOLs in his markets.
He will be the internal and external ambassador for key market stakeholders, (Universities, Health Authorities, Academic Institutes..) and other medical/healthcare associations, and will engage with them to understand their patients’ health priorities and identify opportunities that align with the company’s strategic medical objectives.
Plan and implement clinical and engagement strategies for clients, in aligned coordination with other colleagues as needed to achieve clinical goals.
Utilize knowledge and skills to design and implement educational programs to create a level of scientific awareness about relevant disease areas.
Skills, experience and qualifications
Medical background (Pharmacist or Doctor of Medicine) as required by local state regulations.
More than 4 years of experience in the medical field.
Demonstrate clinical and technical expertise: Experienced in scientific data interpretation, and abilities in medical writing and authorship.
Full awareness of pharmaceutical industry laws, local policies and regulations as well as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
Experience in regulatory and clinical research and pharmacovigilance.
Possess strong strategic, analytical, self-aware and interpersonal skills.
Collaborate effectively and demonstrate leadership and teamwork with peers, internal stakeholders, and external clients that inspire alignment and partnership in a shared vision or strategy.
