Job description and summary
A career in sales and marketing, within the company’s internal services, will provide you with the opportunity to focus on positioning PwC’s distinctive brand in the marketplace and driving the company’s long-term revenue growth. You will focus on the design, development and implementation of communication programs and media events to promote and sell the brand and PwC services as well as contribute to our pricing strategies and market evaluation.

Our Marketing and PR team is responsible for PwC’s external media relations and social media strategy. As part of our team, you will help manage social media accounts, manage media relations, and identify new and emerging opportunities for the company.

Role:

We seek to hire a confident, dynamic and experienced individual who can demonstrate a good understanding of the professional services market; Demonstrate proven experience in developing and delivering impactful communication campaigns; Bringing new creativity, ideas and experiences to the team. The successful applicant will be clear, digitally savvy, have a nose for news, an innovative approach to public relations and external communications, and sound judgment.

Basic tasks:

Work closely with internal stakeholders and spokespersons to lead positive, innovative and impactful communication campaigns from start to finish aimed at enhancing the company’s reputation.
Design and implement communication campaigns based on thought leadership, market developments and market-led initiatives.
Provides advice and guidance on content and positioning, while developing campaign strategy and building tactical plans across a full range of channels including traditional and social media.
Exercising judgment and advice regarding message tone, format, timing, vehicle and audience to ensure the best and most effective approach to achieving campaign objectives.
Create SMART metrics for campaigns and impact assessment.
Make strategic communications relevant to campaigns and/or other activities.
Deliver effective and well-researched media communication programs for keynote speakers, and build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders such as the marketing team and media.
Implement key aspects of the communication strategy, working with SMEs as necessary to develop content: key narratives, key messages, talking points for different stakeholder groups, frequently asked questions, and press releases.
Identify and respond to unexpected short-term media opportunities and risks in coordination with the External Communications Leader
Collaborate with colleagues across the customer team and markets to identify opportunities for integrated communication across multiple platforms.

requirements

Strong understanding of the professional services sector
Ideally at least 4-6 years of experience in strong media relations/communications, preferably at a senior level within a services/business environment – at home or agency.
Proven track record of managing and delivering high-impact PR campaigns and handling challenging and complex technical issues and sensitive issues.
Experience in analyzing and interpreting complex data, reports and surveys.
A strong network of concerned journalists and industrialists.
Excellent written and analytical skills, and demonstrated ability to plan, manage and deliver projects.
Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
Proven ability to use digital and social media as effective media relations tools.
Bilingual in Arabic and English, with good command of English.
