Your role and responsibilities
IBM Client Architecture Business Transformation Consultants are part of a cross-functional team that delivers a unique experience in client co-creation to accelerate client transformation. As part of the Entrepreneurship team, you will co-create with clients with IBM Client Engineering as a new standard. You will serve as a business transformation consultant to help drive global markets sales initiatives. You will support the client account team as the technical business expert who helps define solutions and services for our clients. You will help lead workshops, develop business perspectives and business cases for client investment in IBM offerings. You will be involved in the entire sales process starting from the initial contact with the customer to ensure the path to successful adoption. You will be aware of similar industry solutions and how they differ. You will be seen as an expert in the IT industry and will help build IBM’s reputation by contributing reusable assets and technologies to improve knowledge and cloud adoption.
Technical and professional experience preferred
Knowledge and skill in strategic and financial analysis
Experience in managing agile technology products.
Working knowledge of hybrid multi-cloud architectures, micro-services design, DevOps and agile training. Architectural knowledge of IBM Cloud, Cloud Paks, RedHat OpenShift, Containers/Kubernetes and RedHat wallet.
Experience in helping clients migrate and migrate from on-site to cloud infrastructure and operations
10+ years of experience as a business consultant.
Technical and professional experience required
More than 8 years of prior experience in strategic business consulting in large and complex organizations
3+ years of prior experience working as a client facing business consultant or P&L product manager for a technical product
Proven skill in developing technical value propositions, pro forma financial business cases and impactful client proposals
Demonstrate an understanding of how cloud and cognitive technologies drive business value
Experience directing digital transformation in large and complex organisations.
Experience helping customers update apps on the cloud
– Excellent communication and facilitation skills
