Manama, Dec. 12 (BNA): A delegation from the National Institution for Human Rights visited the Salmaniya Medical Complex.
The delegation conducted interviews with the medical staff and patients to learn about the extent of adherence to the precautionary measures followed.
They were also briefed on human rights standards stipulated in international laws and covenants, and learned about human rights issues of concern to patients and how government hospitals deal with them.
The visit also aimed to see the services provided by the Accident and Emergency Department and its development in expanding its new building.
The delegation reviewed the standards of adherence to the rights of patients and health workers.
