National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander inaugurates Royal Guard Champions Centre

Manama, Feb. 5 (BNA): The National Security Adviser and Commander of the Royal Guard, Major General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, patronized today the inauguration of the Royal Guard Heroes Center. The inauguration took place in conjunction with the fifty-fifth anniversary of the establishment of the Bahrain Defense Force.

Major General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa unveiled the commemorative plaque announcing the opening of the facility, which is the largest sports center in the Kingdom of Bahrain with an area of ​​2,500 square meters. He was briefed about the modern facility, which is equipped with about 140 sports equipment for different games. The center also has a multi-use sports track and two combat sports rings.

Major General His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa toured the center and was briefed on its equipment. He also met with a number of specialized trainers and praised the unlimited support provided by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces for military sports. He also praised the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Prime Minister, and the continuous follow-up of the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force, Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Khalifa.

The National Security Adviser and Commander of the Royal Guard confirmed that the new facility reflects a constant keenness to develop the sports infrastructure for its role in enhancing the skills of the military and maintaining their physical fitness. He praised the high level of the members of the Royal Guard, appreciating the efforts of all members of the Bahrain Defense Force in enhancing combat and administrative readiness.
