Manama, Feb. 5 (BNA): Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, received a phone call today from the Secretary-General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, Jassim Muhammad Jassim Muhammad Al-Budaiwi.
Dr. Al-Zayan congratulated the new Chairman of the Gulf Cooperation Council, wishing him success in performing his duties to advance the Gulf march to achieve common goals.
During the call, the minister affirmed Bahrain’s support for the efforts of the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council to enhance Gulf cooperation.
The Secretary-General expressed his thanks to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and pledged to exert all efforts in coordination with the GCC Council of Ministers to enhance cooperation in all fields.
