the opportunity
Created a position for Director of Cyber Threat Investigation to join the business, supporting the MENA tech team with cyber settlement assessments and other forensic projects. Your main responsibilities
In this role, you will manage the Cyber Security Services engagements, direct end-to-end cyber security incident response activities, investigate threat events detected in client environments, deliver high-quality client reports, support client teams at remote sites and support long-term delivery investigation projects in Cyber threats, both on-site and remotely. When necessary, you can also post to customer sites for relevant electronic investigations.
You will assist in managing the financial aspects of contracting operations by organizing staffing, building and designing data policy and procedures, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders.
You will also create, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships.
You will actively contribute to improving operational efficiency on internal projects and initiatives and will continually drive projects to completion, identifying that work is of high quality.
To qualify for this role, you must have
At least ten years of experience in cyber security and incident response
Extensive knowledge in building data privacy controls for structured and unstructured data
In-depth understanding of computer forensics and cybersecurity principles including intrusion response and network monitoring
Working knowledge of hardware configuration, network/data connections, software development and scripting, database technology and exploit/forensics
Experience in managing evidence and conducting intelligence analysis
– Ability to automate tasks using scripting language (Python, Perl, Ruby)
Understand and organize attacker indicators of compromise techniques, tactics, and procedures so that they can be applied to current and future investigations
Knowledge of forensics and command line based on Windows, Unix and Mac
Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize when working on multiple engagements
– History of business development and successful team development
Ideally, you will also have
Official industry cyber threat qualification, such as Advanced Threat Detection and Incident Response, GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst, Advanced Threat Hunter or GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH)
At least one advanced degree or professional certification, such as EnCE, CCE, CCFP, GCFA, GNFA, GCFE, CFCE, GCIH, GREM
– Proven track record with a leading consulting firm
– Proficiency in the Arabic language
