Work summary
– Manager – Quality Leads and manages the quality function in Egypt and design centers in the Levant. Enforces quality policies, procedures, tools and templates across Gulf area offices.
Ensures that the objectives of quality certifications for K&A offices in Egypt and the Levant are achieved in accordance with the companies’ accreditation plans.
The jobholder also plans and performs quality audits at K&A offices in Egypt and Levant to ensure compliance with the company’s quality policies, procedures, tools and templates.
Directs QA/QC activities on design outcomes to ensure engineering design work adheres to the organization’s quality standards.
The business owner also manages to provide high quality training and awareness courses in accordance with annual training plans, to promote a culture of total quality.
Job Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration
More than 10 years of experience in quality management
– Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred
ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Quality Management Certification Required
Preferred ISO 14001/45001 Internal Auditor
Experience in a quality function in the architecture, engineering and planning industry is an advantage
Experience in implementing quality policies, procedures, and tools across large organizations
Experience in quality audit activities in large organizations
Experience in high quality training programs in large organizations
Knowledge of architecture, engineering and the planning industry
Knowledge of quality certificates, compliance requirements and audit programs
Understanding of local quality regulations in the Middle East is an advantage
Ability to obtain cooperation from a variety of stakeholders, including senior management
– Fluency in spoken and written English. Arabic is an advantage
