Manama, Feb. 13 (BNA): The Labor Market Regulatory Authority carried out two joint inspection campaigns in the Muharraq Governorate and the Northern Governorate, which included a number of shops and work sites, as part of its continuous efforts to intensify inspection. Visits to ensure the stability and sustainability of the labor market growth.
The Labor Market Regulatory Authority carried out a joint inspection campaign in the Northern Governorate, in coordination with the Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs and the Police Directorate in the governorate. As for the other campaign, it was implemented in Muharraq Governorate, in coordination with the General Directorate of Crime Detection and Criminal Evidence at the Ministry of Interior.
The campaigns resulted in reports of violations of labor market and residency laws. The reported cases were referred for legal action.
The Labor Market Regulatory Authority has renewed its call to all members of society to support the efforts of government agencies in addressing illegal labor practices by reporting violations through the electronic form on the authority’s website www.lmra.bh or by calling the authority’s call center at 17506055.
