HM King pardons 105 inmates

Manama, December 15 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today issued a royal decree pardoning 105 inmates convicted in various cases who spent part of their prison terms.

It reflects the generous royal gesture on the occasion of the Kingdom’s national holidays, in commemoration of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Islamic state, which was founded by Ahmed Al-Fateh in 1783, and the anniversary of the accession of His Majesty the King to the throne. His Majesty the King was keen to give pardoned inmates the opportunity to reintegrate into society and participate in the Kingdom’s development process.
