Manama, June 28 (BNA) Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Nawaf bin Mohammed Al-Maawda met today with Batelco Chairman Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
The meeting was attended by a number of officials from the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments and the Information and e-Government Authority, in addition to representatives from Batelco and BEYON.
During the meeting, Batelco’s Chief Digital Officer, Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, gave a presentation on the services provided by BEYON in the areas of digital transformation and technology solutions.
The two sides discussed the possibility of benefiting from the services of BEYON in the judicial sector, including in various areas based on the development of automation of procedures and technical protection.
Al-Maawda affirmed the Ministry of Justice’s interest in learning about advanced technological systems and studying opportunities for partnership with the private sector in this field, which would contribute to raising the level of quality of services provided and facilitating their procedures for lawyers, litigants and clients.
He said that the great achievements made at the level of electronic transformation in the justice facility established a technical and procedural structure for many basic services, and created an important ground for expanding electronic transformation further and developing the technical infrastructure.
