Manama, August 13 (BNA) The Minister of Information Affairs, Dr. Ramadan bin Abdullah Al-Nuaimi, received the CEO of the General Sports Authority, Dr. Abdulrahman Sadeq Askar.
Dr. Al-Nuaimi valued the directives of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority and Chairman of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, to develop plans for the development of sports in the Kingdom.
During the meeting, the cooperation between the ministry and the authority was reviewed to develop joint plans to achieve more successful sports media coverage.
They stressed the importance of developing media coverage of various sporting events in the Kingdom of Bahrain and the participation of national teams abroad to achieve common goals.
