Jordan’s Prime Minister visits Economic Development Board

Manama, Jan. 5 (BNA): Within the framework of his visit, in response to the invitation of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Prime Minister and Minister of Defense of Jordan, Dr. Bishr Al-Khasawneh, today visited the Economic Development Board in Bahrain Bay.

He was received by Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and a number of ministers and senior officials.

He welcomed Dr. Al-Khasawneh and the accompanying delegation, praising the strong bilateral relations supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein of Jordan.

He referred to the steadily growing relations and mutual keenness to expand cooperation through the Joint Higher Committee for the benefit of the two countries and peoples.

Dr. Al-Khasawneh listened to a briefing from the Minister of Finance and National Economy, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, on the government’s work in enhancing the economic performance of the Kingdom of Bahrain within the framework of the recovery plan.

During the visit, the two sides reviewed the promising opportunities in Bahrain and ways to enhance investment between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the global markets, which contributed to attracting direct investments to the Kingdom, with the aim of creating more qualitative opportunities for citizens.
