Manama, Jan. 5 (BNA): Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam affirmed the comprehensive development process witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to achieve the desired goals and aspirations. He also praised the continuous support and efforts made by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The Speaker of the House of Representatives praised the steady development of Bahraini-American relations and the joint keenness to enhance bilateral cooperation in various fields. He pointed out the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to support international efforts to enhance security, stability, growth and prosperity, support peacekeeping efforts, combat terrorism and promote tolerance and coexistence.
This came during a speech by the Speaker of the House of Representatives during his meeting today with the Ambassador of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Stephen Bondy, and his accompanying delegation. They discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations, especially in the economic and parliamentary fields.
The US ambassador expressed his country’s appreciation for Bahrain’s keenness to further strengthen bilateral relations, praising the Kingdom’s development, wishing it further growth and prosperity.
