Manama, September 29 (BNA) Minister of Interior Lieutenant-General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa today received the former Chief of Defense Staff of the British Armed Forces, retired General Sir Nicholas Carter. The Chief of Public Security, Lieutenant-General Tariq Al-Hassan, attended.
The Minister of Interior welcomed the British official, stressing that the visit comes within the framework of an exchange of views. He praised the historical relations between the two friendly countries, and the dedication to developing them to achieve common interests. Security issues and regional developments were reviewed.
