Manama, July 29 (BNA) The relevant security directorates at the Ministry of Interior made intensive efforts during heavy rains in some areas of Bahrain. Efforts include regulating traffic and dealing with issues received by the main operating room.
The Operations Directorate activated the emergency plan in coordination with the Northern Governorate Police Directorate to restore normal conditions on roads and areas.
Traffic patrols dealt with the effects of the rain by assisting drivers with their faulty vehicles and performing the required road diversions to protect lives and property.
The Civil Defense dealt with some rain-related cases and used pumps to drain rainwater, in cooperation with the Municipalities Affairs and the Ministry of Agriculture Affairs and Works.
The Directorate of Information and Security Culture continued to carry out its awareness-raising roles through the website of the Police Media Center and social channels.
