Manama, September 29 (BNA): The Bahrain General Index closed at 1,881.99 points, an increase of 0.40 points over the previous close.
This increase is attributed to the rise in the consumer goods sector and the financial sector.
Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 662.09 points, recording an increase of 0.77 points over the previous close.
The results indicated that 43 transactions were made on equity with a volume of 1,353,481 with a value of BD 263,019.
Investors mainly trade in the financial sector, representing 43.81% of the total value of traded securities.
