Manama, May 14 (BNA): Information Minister Dr. Ramadan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, attaches great importance to freedom of expression and the press. within the framework of national constants.
In an interview with the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), on the sidelines of the Prime Minister’s Award for Journalism ceremony that was held today, the Minister of Information expressed the honor of His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister’s patronage of the award. He stressed that the award reflects the keenness of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to support the press and its primary developmental role. He also praised His Majesty the King’s approach in supporting the Bahraini press.
The Minister of Information congratulated the Tunisian News Agency on the victory of its photographer, Youssef Talitla, with the “Best Photography Award” in the seventh edition of the Prime Minister’s Award for Journalism. He expressed his keenness on the continuous development of the award to enhance competition to provide the best.
