Mumtalakat CEO Meets Saudi Minister of Investment

Manama, May 14 (BNA): The CEO of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat) Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa met with Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al-Falih during his visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The two sides explored new areas of cooperation with sovereign investment institutions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as investment opportunities within Mumtalakat portfolio companies.

They highlighted their role and contributions to the national economy by working in the leading economic sectors and supporting local employment.

His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the important role of the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council in strengthening economic ties between the two countries, in a way that contributes to achieving the leadership’s vision and goals in both kingdoms.

Mumtalakat holds stakes in more than 50 companies with a portfolio spanning a variety of sectors, including industrial manufacturing, financial services, telecoms, real estate, logistics, consumer products, healthcare and education.
