Manama, June 16 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, made a phone call today with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Airport Company, His Excellency Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed. Bahrain International Airport was awarded the Best New Airport in the World by the Skytrax 2022 World Airport Awards at the Passenger Terminal EXPO held in Paris, France.
His Royal Highness highlighted the Kingdom’s wide-ranging achievements, which continue to enjoy the support of the Bahrain team, in line with the goals and visions of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
His Highness congratulated the Chairman and members of the Board of Directors of Bahrain International Airport, as well as the airport’s employees, on their distinguished achievements.
His Excellency Mr. Kamal bin Ahmed expressed his pride in this great achievement, which was achieved thanks to the continuous support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for the development of the aviation and air transport sectors in the Kingdom.
His Excellency Kamal bin Ahmed expressed his gratitude to His Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister for his continued support of all major strategic projects, including the new Bahrain International Airport, adding that His Highness’s support contributed to the airport being recognized as the best new airport in the world.
