Manama, June 16 (BNA) The Kingdom of Bahrain withdrew from hosting the AFC U-17 Cup 2023, which is scheduled to be held next year.
The Kuala Lumpur-based Asian Football Confederation has approved a request in this regard from the Bahrain Football Association.
The Secretary-General of the BFA, Rashid Al-Zoghbi, said that the federation withdrew from hosting the tournament for a number of reasons.
The Asian Football Confederation will announce which country will host the event in the coming period.
