Manama, Dec. 12 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, chaired today the weekly cabinet meeting at Gudaibiya Palace.

The Council of Ministers congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s celebration of the National Day, in celebration of the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain during the era of its founder, Ahmed Al-Fateh, in 1783 as an Arab and Islamic country, as well as the anniversary of His Majesty’s accession King reins of power.

The Council of Ministers also congratulated the people of Bahrain on this national occasion, praising the vast achievements that the Kingdom has achieved in light of its comprehensive development, under the leadership of His Majesty the King.

The Cabinet emphasized the importance of His Majesty the King’s speech, which will be delivered at the opening of the first session of the sixth legislative term of the Shura Council and the House of Representatives, in laying the foundations for national efforts in the next phase of the Kingdom. progress and development.

The Cabinet also highlighted the outputs of the Riyadh-Chinese-Gulf Summit for Cooperation and Development and the Riyadh-Chinese-Arab Summit for Cooperation and Development, appreciating the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The Cabinet praised the distinguished efforts made by His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, in achieving more sporting achievements for the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Cabinet commended the results of the first Arab International Summit on Cybersecurity (AICS), which was held under the auspices of His Royal Highness, who commissioned the National Security Adviser, Commander of the Royal Guard, Major General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to open the conference. summit on his behalf.

1. A memorandum of the Ministerial Committee for Legal and Legislative Affairs regarding an agreement between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf regarding the GCC Communications Office in the Kingdom.

2. The memorandum of the Ministerial Committee for Legal and Legislative Affairs regarding the international cooperation agreement between the University of Bahrain and the International Atomic Energy Agency in the field of particle physics.

3. A memorandum by the Minister of Shura Council and Parliament Affairs regarding several draft laws.

The Cabinet reviewed a joint memorandum between the Minister of Works and the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture regarding preparations to face the monsoon rains.

The cabinet reviewed the memorandum of the Minister of Tourism regarding the events and celebrations that will be held to commemorate the establishment of the modern Bahraini state during the era of its founder, Ahmed Al-Fateh, as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783, the anniversary of His Majesty’s accession to power.
