Manama, Jan. 10 (BNA) The Central Bank of Bahrain announced that it has exceeded the oversubscription of the monthly issue of Islamic Salam Sukuk by 189%.
Subscriptions of BD 81.482 million were received in the BD 43 million issue, which mature within 91 days.
The expected return on the issue, which begins January 12, 2022 and matures on April 13, 2022, is 1.39% compared to 1.46% for the previous issue on December 15, 2021.
Al Salam Sukuk are issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
