Special Envoy for Climate receives lawmaker

Manama, Jan. 10 (BNA) Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak bin Dina received the Special Envoy for Climate Affairs and CEO of the Supreme Council for the Environment, member of the Public Utilities and Environment Committee in the House of Representatives, Hamad Ahmed Al Kooheji.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the authority and the council.

Bin Dina praised the partnership of the executive and legislative authorities in promoting the process of development and democracy and serving the country and citizens under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

He praised the legislator’s keenness to enhance bilateral efforts to achieve the Kingdom’s sustainable development goals.

Al Kooheji expressed his appreciation for Bin Dina’s role and the authority’s efforts in preserving the environment and developing strategies and policies to follow up on commercial, industrial and investment projects related to the climate and environment in Bahrain.
