Manama, March 9 (BNA) The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority announced its intention to organize the “Manama Golden Festival” in the Manama Souq for the first time in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Shops selling gold, pearls and precious stones in the market will participate in the event scheduled to take place from March 20 to April 20, 2022.
During the festival, the Bahrain Tourism and Electricity Authority will organize several accompanying events, including weekly prizes along with a weekly event featuring Bahraini shows, traditional clothing shows, documentaries on the gold industry and trade in the Kingdom of Bahrain, activities for children, a bazaar and more.
The authority will organize the festival in cooperation with the Manama Digital Museum “Manama Story”. It is a civic initiative concerned with documenting social, urban and commercial life in Manama and restoring its leadership roles.
