BTEA affiliates honoured with Prince Salman bin Hamad Medal for Medical Merit

Manama, February 3 (BNA) The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Zayed bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority, today honored 16 cadres of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority with the Prince Salman bin Hamad Medal. For Medical Merit”, in the presence of the Authority’s CEO, Dr. Nasser Qaidi.

The medal was handed over in implementation of the royal order and in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to all the competent authorities to award the medal to the front lines of medical cadres. The Bahrain Defense Force, the Ministry of Interior and all the supporting bodies that contribute to the Kingdom’s success story in combating the Corona Virus (Covid-19) pandemic.

The Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism described the praise of His Majesty the King and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for the dedicated national efforts in combating the virus as a motive to continue efforts in confronting the epidemic and protecting people. Health and safety and ensuring the continuity of all economic and productive sectors, including tourism.

Al-Zayani praised the efforts of the authority’s workers who are participating in the national efforts to deal with the coronavirus pandemic. He praised their high national sense of responsibility in supporting national efforts and implementing decisions and directives issued by the relevant authorities.
