HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister arrives in the Arab Republic of Egypt: 07 November 2022

Manama, November 7 (BNA) His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, arrived today in the Arab Republic of Egypt on behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The United Nations Climate Change Conference 2022 (COP27), being held in Sharm El-Sheikh, from 6-18 November.


His Highness delivered a speech in which he expressed his happiness at visiting Egypt, and highlighted the strength of bilateral relations between the two countries.


His Highness then conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and His Majesty’s wishes for a successful conference that would enhance international cooperation in this field. Climate change.


His Highness affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to continue strengthening relations between Bahrain and Egypt, noting the Kingdom’s pride in Egypt’s advocacy of common Arab interests.


His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad praised the progress and development that Egypt is witnessing under the leadership of His Excellency Al-Sisi.


His Royal Highness highlighted the importance of COP27, which takes place against the backdrop of global climate challenges, which require innovative and collective international action in developing solutions to protect the environment.


His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad wished Egypt every success in presenting this important global environmental event, and expressed his hope that the conference would bring renewed momentum and unity in facing common environmental challenges.
