Manama, May 10 (BNA) The Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs, Ayman bin Tawfiq Al-Moayad, received the Secretary-General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, Faris Mustafa Al-Kooheji. He praised his great experience and contributions to the development of the work of the Olympic Committee in line with the vision of the personal representative of His Majesty the King for humanitarian work and youth affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, His Highness Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad. Al Khalifa and His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.
The Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs stressed the importance of the team spirit in developing the sports movement in the Kingdom of Bahrain and maximizing achievements.
For his part, the Secretary-General of the Bahrain Olympic Committee praised the tremendous efforts made by the Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs to advance the youth and sports sector in Bahrain. He stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between the British Olympic Committee and the Ministry of Youth and Sports Affairs in various fields.
The two sides discussed ways to enhance joint cooperation.
