HM King visits BDF General Command

Manama, May 10 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, paid a visit today, Tuesday, to the General Command of the Bahrain Defense Force. Upon his arrival, he was received by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the National Security Adviser and Commander of the Royal Guard, Major General Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Commander of the Special Forces of the Royal Guard, Lt. Col. His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. Khalifa and Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi and senior officers.

His Majesty, during his meeting with senior officers, reiterated his pride in the strength of the Bahrain Defense Force and its brave personnel, praising their distinguished efforts in protecting national achievements. He expressed his thanks to the military and civilian medical and administrative staff for their unremitting humanitarian efforts in successfully confronting the coronavirus pandemic.

His Majesty the King congratulated the Bahrain Defense Force’s athletics team on their historic achievement in the Military Marathon Championship hosted by Peru, describing it as an additional achievement for the Kingdom’s record in various fields.

His Majesty the King affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s firm keenness on security and stability in the region and the world at large, wishing all members of the Bahrain Defense Force more success, continuity and prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain.
