Bahrain to host MPGC 2022

Manama, May 10 / BNA / Under the patronage of Minister of Oil Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Kingdom will host the 29th Annual Middle East Petroleum and Gas Conference (MPGC 2022) on May 16-17 at the Four Seasons Hotel Bahrain. bay.


The event will attract senior officials of local, regional and international oil companies from 25 countries to discuss the key issues and challenges facing the regional and global oil and gas markets.


The Minister praised Conference Connection’s efforts to organize the 29th conferencey MPGC edition in the Kingdom, confirming Bahrain’s distinguished reputation and position as a major host for various specialized events and oil projects.


He expressed his thanks and appreciation to the global event participants, including CEOs and heads of international oil and gas companies, senior government officials, policy makers, international oil traders, energy experts, analysts and leading organizations in the energy sector.


He noted that participants will discuss important specialized topics, including energy markets, Middle East trade and price transformation, LNG trading expectations, future fuels, the energy transition, and changing the refining landscape towards another golden age, among many other topics of interest. in the oil sector. .


He pointed out that the event provides a platform for exchanging information and experiences in various specialized topics and finding appropriate solutions in light of the unprecedented geopolitical and economic pressures and challenges the world is going through, in addition to high oil prices and closures. in China due to the increase in the number of COVID-19 infections.
