Aden, Jan. 30 (BNA): The President of the Presidential Command Council issued a decision to establish military units called “National Shield Forces” headed by the Commander-in-Chief.
According to the decree, which was published by the Yemeni news agency Saba, the commander-in-chief will decide the total number of forces, their tasks and their theater of operations.
The forces are subject to the Service in the Armed Forces Act and related laws and directives of the Commander-in-Chief.
