Manama, September 23 (BNA) Minister of Works Ibrahim Hassan Al-Hawaj received the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Association of Banks, Adnan Ahmed Al-Yousef, accompanied by the CEO of the Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait, Dr. Waheed Al-Qasim, and the advisor, Dr. Hassan Al-Ali.
The minister praised the association’s role in developing the financial and banking sector, which is a mainstay in supporting the national economy and stimulating growth.
He also highlighted the Bank’s initiatives, projects and programs aimed at enhancing the role of banks further, supporting the national economy and stimulating growth.
Youssef, Chairman of the Board of Directors, affirmed cooperation with all government agencies in a way that contributes to achieving common interests and aspirations for further development, progress and prosperity.
The meeting was also attended by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Works Sheikh Mishaal bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and Director of Financial Resources Mohammed Al-Atawi.
