NIHR receives Australian ambassador


Manama, Mar. 20 (BNA): Vice-President of the National Institution for Human Rights, Khalid Abdulaziz Al-Shaer, received the Australian Ambassador to Bahrain, residing in Riyadh, Mark Donovan.


The meeting reviewed the institution’s role in human rights issues.


They also discussed issues of common interest and ways to enhance cooperation.


Donovan expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the National Institution for Human Rights in protecting and promoting human rights in Bahrain, and wished the Kingdom and its people further progress and prosperity.
