Issuing welding tickets for company employees.
Check welding specifications for the job.
Ensure that the correct equipment and materials are used for welding.
– Inspection of completed welds.
Evaluate the quality and strength of completed welds.
Suggesting alternative welding techniques.
Explain the correct welding procedures.
Introducing new welding techniques.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Ensure that welders adhere to government health and safety regulations.

– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
CSWIP, AWS, HNC, HND or NVQ certification.
Previous experience working as a welding inspector.
Advanced knowledge of TIG, MIG, laser, stub and arc welding techniques.
– Ability to read and interpret charts.
Observational and analytical.
– Good communication skills.
Knowledge of health and safety practices.
Good management and supervision skills.
