m2r Education is currently looking for a Music Teacher (Music Major) for this British International School in Bahrain. Get started ASAP
This leading and accredited international school has over 2,500 students across more than 80 different nationalities. They offer excellent facilities and follow the English National Curriculum. Positions are open to anyone who meets minimum standards and comes with an excellent tax-free package which includes a competitive base salary, housing allowance which will vary depending on your circumstances, study allowance and other usual expat benefits.
Minimum criteria for application:
A relevant degree + PGCE or BEd and 5 years of post-qualification teaching and leading experience
Experience of leading the primary music department in a British school using the English National Curriculum
Experience from an international school is an advantage
Excellent knowledge of subject content and teaching methods
High hopes and aspirations for all children
Ability to use digital applications to enhance teaching and learning
Committed to the comprehensive development of youth
UK/Irish/South African teachers are welcome to apply
Deal:
Two-year contract (renewable)
Tax-free base salary between BD1,100 – BD1,700 (£26k – £40,000) plus subsistence allowance which will vary depending on whether you are single, married, have children etc (the total can be up to package to £50,000 tax-free)

Annual flight + start and end flights

– Education (100% for the first child and 50% for the second child
Medical insurance for the family up to two children
Paid leave according to the academic calendar
