Ways to enhance Bahrain-UK relations in oil, environment discussed

Manama, July 19 (BNA) The Minister of Oil and Environment, and the Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak bin Dina, affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to strengthen its relations with the United Kingdom in various fields, especially the environment and oil.

He also stressed the importance of enhancing joint coordination between the two friendly countries to better serve common interests and goals.

The minister’s remarks came during his meeting here today with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Bahrain, Roderick Drummond.

During the meeting, Dr. Bin Dina praised the envoy’s efforts to enhance cooperation between the two friendly countries.

He also praised the role the United Kingdom plays in supporting efforts to promote sustainable development and the green economy, as well as countering the impacts of climate change.

The British ambassador affirmed his country’s keenness to continue cooperation with the Kingdom in various fields to achieve the common aspirations of the two friendly countries.
