Manama, Feb. 9 (BNA): The National Initiative for Agricultural Development (NIAD) and the Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture said that the national afforestation campaign “Forever Green” has received generous support from the University College of Bahrain (UCB).
During a special ceremony, 60 seedlings of cinnamon trees were planted in Al Sofra Garden.
This generous contribution confirms the Bank of the European Union’s interest in expanding the green area and its keenness to preserve natural wealth.
The campaign encourages participation in national initiatives and community partnerships in support of government plans to reduce carbon emissions and achieve environmental sustainability.
