Bahrain- Saudi tourism cooperation discussed

Riyadh, August 10 (BNA) Saudi Tourism Minister Fatima bint Jaafar Al-Sarafi praised the deep-rooted historical relations linking the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

She noted the steadily growing relations and expanding cooperation in all areas, especially the tourism sector.

The minister’s statements came during her meeting with the CEO of the Saudi Tourism Development Fund Qusay bin Abdullah Al-Fakhri in Riyadh.

The two sides discussed ways of cooperation to create diverse job opportunities in the tourism sector and enhance its sustainability in line with international developments.

They agreed to explore future prospects for tourism projects implemented by the private sector in both countries, in addition to benefiting from investment opportunities in this vital sector.

Al-Serafy highlighted Bahrain’s tourism strategy 2022-2025, which aims to further develop the sector and pump more investments into the tourism infrastructure, stressing openness to regional and international steps.
