Manama, Mar. 27 (BNA): Minister of Tourism, Fatima bint Jaafar Al-Sairafi, received the President of the Bahraini Society for Tolerance and Religious Coexistence (Ta’ayush), Youssef Muhammad Bozboun, and members of the society.
The session was attended by Dr. Nasser Ali Qaedi, CEO of the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority.
The minister emphasized that Bahrain has a strategy to promote tolerance, harmony and peace and make it an attractive travel destination due to its friendly society, history, culture, heritage and recreational facilities.
Al-Serafi was briefed on the establishment of the society, its activities, events, and participation inside and outside the Kingdom.
She praised Ta’ayush’s role in presenting Bahrain to the world and affirmed the Ministry’s keenness to support the efforts of various civil societies to advance the Kingdom as a model of tolerance and coexistence.
