NIHR, Shura Human Rights Committee discuss enhancing cooperation

Manama, Mar. 27 (BNA): The Chairman of the National Institution for Human Rights, Ali Ahmed Al-Derazi, received the Chairman of the Human Rights Committee in the Shura Council, Dr. Muhammad Ali Al-Khuzaie, and members of the committee.

The President of the National Institution for Human Rights gave an overview of the institution’s efforts and its role in promoting and protecting human rights, and submitting recommendations related to human rights to the legislative and executive authorities.

Al-Derazi stressed the importance of continuing cooperation between the two sides to enhance the protection of human rights.

The chairman and members of the committee expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the National Institution for Human Rights and its active role in promoting human rights in the Kingdom.
