Rome, June 23 / BNA / The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Rome, Dr. Nasser Mohammed Al Balushi, met today at the headquarters of the Italian House of Representatives, Deputy Speaker of the Italian House of Representatives, Representative Ettore Rosato. The meeting was held in the presence of the Mayor of Damante and the Secretary-General of the Parliamentary Committee on National Security, Senator Ernesto Majorno.
The talks dealt with ways to enhance bilateral relations and regional and international issues of common interest.
The ambassador briefed the Italian side on the most prominent development and civilizational achievements witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain in light of the reform approach of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He referred to the Kingdom’s pioneering initiatives in consolidating tolerance and peaceful coexistence among all religions, cultures and civilizations.
