Thai Foreign Ministry Permanent Secretary receives Bahrain’s ambassador

Bangkok, February 8 (BNA) Permanent Secretary of the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs received Thani Tungphakdi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Bangkok, Mona Abbas Radi.

He stressed the depth of the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, praising Bahrain’s pivotal role in the region.

He commended the Kingdom of Bahrain for strengthening coordination and cooperation to achieve the common interests of the two friendly countries at the bilateral and international levels.

He also praised Bahrain’s presidency of the Asian Cooperation Dialogue, looking forward to further cooperation within the framework of this important regional organization.

He welcomed the existing cooperation between the two countries in trade and economy, noting the success of Thai Mart Restaurant Bahrain.

He affirmed his support for all efforts that would enhance trade exchange between the two friendly countries and encourage Thai businessmen to continue communicating with their counterparts in Bahrain and take advantage of the opportunities available in both countries, thus contributing to advancing relations to the highest levels.
