Manama, February 8 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, received today at Sakhir Palace the Commander of the US Central Command, General Kenneth F. Bahrain.
His Majesty the King welcomed him, praising the deep-rooted historical relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, which are based on mutual respect and coordination. He also praised the growing relations between the two friendly countries in light of the mutual keenness to develop them mainly in the military and defense fields.
His Majesty praised the pivotal role of the US administration in promoting regional and international security and stability in cooperation with its allies. He stressed Bahrain’s firm support for those efforts, praising the role of General Kenneth McKenzie Jr. in strengthening Bahraini-US cooperation in the military and defense fields.
His Majesty the King discussed with the commander of the US Central Command, regional and international developments.
