HM King receives credentials of Algerian, Indonesian, US ambassadors

Manama, February 8 (BNA) His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received today at Sakhir Palace the credentials of three new ambassadors to the Kingdom of Bahrain. They are Algerian Ambassador Abdelhamid Ahmed Khoja, Indonesian Ambassador Ardi Harmawan, and US Ambassador Stephen C. Bundy.

His Majesty the King welcomed them, praising the strong relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and their countries and their steady growth at all levels. He wished them every success in their diplomatic missions to strengthen friendly relations and cooperation.

The new ambassadors conveyed to His Majesty the King the greetings and appreciation of their heads of state and their sincere wishes to His Majesty for good health, happiness and further growth and prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain. They praised the close relations that bind their country to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The protocols for presenting credentials were attended by the personal representative of His Majesty the King, the first vice president of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, the head of the Public Sports Authority, the president of the Bahrain Olympic Committee and the minister of the royal court. Minister of Foreign Affairs and Head of Royal Protocols.

The new ambassadors arrived at Sakhir Palace separately, where they were officially received by the Chief of Royal Ceremonies.
