Your role and responsibilities
The Talent Acquisition Partner (TAP) is responsible for developing recruitment plans, utilizing traditional sourcing strategies as well as developing new innovative recruitment approaches in support of IBM Consulting. We are looking for a TAP program that can excel in a fast-paced corporate environment with proven experience in sourcing, screening, qualifying, interviewing and managing candidate relationships. In lieu of this experience, a high-performing talent acquisition support specialist with a desire to enter future IBMers, and a passion for customer service is welcomed. This role is responsible for providing strategic staffing support for the IBM service area. The role will be supported in our priority growth areas such as AI, SAP, Microservices and Blockchain to name a few. TAP will implement external recruitment, act as the primary contact for early career candidates, lead recruitment strategies, and build/maintain client relationships. You will network with business leaders to introduce qualified talent to fill critical roles and provide market intelligence to drive hiring business outcomes. Overall, this position plays an important role in ensuring that the best possible talent is recruited through a partnership with business leaders and talent acquisition.

responsibilities
– Managing the recruitment activity of IBM Consulting
Support candidates throughout the application and recruitment process and ensure candidate signature experience.
Build and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and business leaders to understand staffing expectations and staffing priorities and to meet critical staffing needs in a timely manner.
Provide comprehensive support and advice to business recruitment groups in the full lifecycle recruitment process.
– Identify and manage stakeholders and influencers to accelerate and manage the recruitment process.
Lead recruitment activity for client groups aligned with technical professional staffing needs.
– Managers coaches/interview teams to incorporate ability and competency-based assessments during their interview.
Build and enhance external relationships with technical/diverse/professional associations, to help shape sourcing strategy and develop future talent lines.
Proactively research new recruitment methodologies, and competitive intelligence to create innovative sourcing strategies. Conduct external benchmarks to understand the competitive hiring landscape and influence best practices with team and stakeholders.
Participate in and/or lead diverse recruitment strategies to attract a diverse workforce to IBM by recruiting talented people from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and styles.
Effectively leverage social media tools in line with IBM’s social media and branding strategy.
Meet/exceed key recruitment performance metrics.
Establishing high employment standards that ensure operational excellence and compliance.

Technical and professional experience required
Minimum of 6 years of proven significant volume recruitment experience, with technical recruitment a must.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple demands without missing deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively in meetings, email and formal discussions.
Ability to build deep domain expertise, understand business strategy and drive innovation.

Technical and professional experience preferred
Experience in supporting technology service centers, at preferred similar IBM organizations
Preferably exposure to university and graduate programs.
